Human PRDX3/Peroxiredoxin 3 ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human Peroxiredoxin 3 (PRDX3), a mitochondrial antioxidant enzyme that protects cells against oxidative stress and maintains cellular redox balance. The double-antibody sandwich format is intended for use with human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with a reported sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Kits should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months and are positioned for Cell Biology research, where dysregulation of PRDX3 has been implicated in cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and cardiovascular conditions.

The microplate is pre-coated and the workflow follows a standard sandwich ELISA procedure: equilibrate reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, load standards, samples and blanks, and incubate at 37°C for 90 minutes; add biotin-labeled detection antibody and incubate at 37°C for 60 minutes; add HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and incubate at 37°C for 30 minutes; develop with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes; then add stop solution and read absorbance at 450 nm immediately. Peroxiredoxin 3 (UniProt P30048) is presented as a valuable biomarker for investigating cellular redox regulation in health and disease.
