Human PRAP1/Proline-rich acidic protein 1 ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie as a double-antibody sandwich ELISA, this kit enables quantitative measurement of human Proline-Rich Acidic Protein 1 (PRAP1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid sample types. The assay relies on a colorimetric detection principle and is configured for use with human samples.

The procedure involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, loading standards and samples onto the pre-coated plate, and incubating at 37°C for antigen binding. A biotin-labelled detection antibody and HRP-streptavidin conjugate are added in sequence, followed by TMB substrate development in the dark. Absorbance is read at 450 nm after the reaction is stopped. Reported sensitivity is 1.875 pg/mL and the working range is 3.125-200 pg/mL. Kit components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

PRAP1 participates in cell signalling, cell adhesion, and cytoskeletal organisation, and its dysregulation has been associated with cancer, inflammatory disorders, and neurodegenerative disease. The kit provides a reproducible tool for studies of PRAP1 biology, disease progression, and biomarker research.
