Human PPRC1 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of PPRC1 in human samples. It employs a sandwich ELISA, double antibody format and is suitable for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Performance characteristics include linearity of 86–104% in serum, 86–101% in EDTA plasma, and 94–102% in heparin plasma at 1:2 dilution (n=5). Spike-and-recovery across the same sample types averaged 96% in serum, 97% in EDTA plasma, and 95% in heparin plasma. The pre-coated plate is incubated with samples at 37°C for 90 minutes, followed by biotinylated detection antibody (60 minutes), HRP-streptavidin (30 minutes), and TMB substrate (10–20 minutes in the dark), with absorbance measured after addition of stop solution. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C.

PPRC1 (also known as PGC-1-related coactivator or PRC; Uniprot Q5VV67) is implicated in mitochondrial biogenesis and energy metabolism, and its dysregulation has been linked to metabolic disorders such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease, making it a useful biomarker for research in epigenetics and nuclear signaling.
