PPP1R11, also referred to as Inhibitor-3 (I3), HCGV, or TCTEX5, acts as an endogenous regulator of protein phosphatase 1 (PP1) and participates in mitotic progression and cell cycle control. Studies have documented altered PPP1R11 expression in glioblastoma, breast cancer, and other malignancies, supporting application of this assay in oncology research, phosphatase pathway studies, and cell cycle investigations.
