Human PPIB/Cyclophilin B ELISA Kit

A high-quality and sensitive assay from Assay Genie designed for quantitative measurement of human PPIB/Cyclophilin B. It uses a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody format with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm, and is intended for use with human samples including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL with a measuring range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Storage is at 2–8°C for 12 months. Linearity was tested at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions: serum (n=5) 90–105%, 88–105%, 93–105%; EDTA plasma (n=5) 82–99%, 85–99%, 89–99%; heparin plasma (n=5) 84–91%, 85–96%, 80–100%. Mean recovery was 95% for serum (range 87–104), 95% for EDTA plasma (range 86–100), and 98% for heparin plasma (range 91–103).

The workflow includes reagent equilibration and plate setup, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin (SABC) incubation at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and stop reaction with absorbance measurement at 450 nm. The kit supports research in cell biology, with applications related to Cyclophilin B's role in protein folding and trafficking and its dysregulation in cancer, immune disorders and neurodegenerative diseases.
