Phosphoribosyl pyrophosphate amidotransferase (PPAT) is the rate-limiting enzyme of de novo purine nucleotide biosynthesis, a pathway that is upregulated across many cancers and in proliferating immune cells. The corresponding immunoassay from Assay Genie provides a quantitative protein readout for PPAT in human samples, supporting research into tumor nucleotide metabolism, leukemia drug response, and lymphocyte activation profiling.

The kit uses a two-antibody capture-and-detection configuration on a microplate pre-coated with capture antibody, with a labelled secondary reagent and a substrate that produces an absorbance-based signal on a standard plate reader. Researchers can quantify PPAT from cell lysates as well as from human serum or EDTA plasma. Each kit provides 96 determinations and ships with pre-coated strips, biotinylated detection antibody, recombinant PPAT standard, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, substrate solution, and stop reagent packaged in individual vials.

Bring all components to room temperature before use and refrigerate the kit between runs to preserve reagent activity.
