Human POU domain, class 3, transcription factor 1 (POU3F1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of POU domain, class 3, transcription factor 1 (POU3F1) in human samples. The assay is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human POU3F1.

POU3F1 is a nuclear transcription factor that binds the octamer motif (5'-ATTTGCAT-3') and is thought to play a role in early embryogenesis and neurogenesis. Dysregulation of POU3F1 has been implicated in neurological disorders and cancer, supporting its relevance as a potential biomarker for disease research and therapeutic development.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.156 ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.6% and inter-assay CV of 6.9%. Linearity across serum dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16 ranges from 89-116%, EDTA plasma from 89-117% and heparin plasma from 93-117%. Recovery is reported as 106% (range 100-112%) in serum and 108% (range 102-114%) in plasma. For research use only.
