Human POU domain, class 2, transcription factor 2 (POU2F2) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of the human POU domain, class 2, transcription factor 2 (POU2F2) in human samples. The assay is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and detection is carried out by a colorimetric method.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 10pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is 4.5% (CV) and inter-assay precision is 8.4% (CV). Linearity has been assessed across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum (104-114%, 93-103%, 112-122%, 103-113%), EDTA plasma (89-101%, 80-89%, 91-101%, 104-113%) and heparin plasma (102-112%, 95-105%, 89-99%, 86-94%). Recovery averages 84% in serum (range 80-90%) and 86% in plasma (range 80-92%). The kit specifically detects natural and recombinant human POU2F2.

POU2F2 (UniProt P09086) is a transcription factor of the POU domain family that specifically binds the octamer motif (5'-ATTTGCAT-3'), regulates transcription in a number of tissues and activates immunoglobulin gene expression. The protein localises to the cytoplasm and nucleus. Kit components are stored at -20°C, with selected buffer solutions stored at 4°C. The product is intended for research use only.
