PAWP (Postacrosomal Sheath WW Domain Binding Protein), also referred to as WBP2NL, is a sperm-specific protein localized to the post-acrosomal sheath of mature spermatozoa. This Assay Genie ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of PAWP levels in tissue homogenates, supporting research into male fertility, sperm-oocyte interaction, and the molecular mechanisms underlying oocyte activation following fertilization. The kit is intended for research use only and is intended for studies examining PAWP expression in testicular tissue, sperm extracts, and reproductive tract samples from human subjects.

Researchers investigating idiopathic male infertility, failed fertilization during assisted reproduction, or the diagnostic potential of sperm-derived oocyte-activating factors will find this kit a useful reagent. The microplate-based workflow requires a 50 μL sample volume per well, standard laboratory equipment including a plate reader capable of measuring absorbance, and the assay is intended to be performed by trained personnel handling biological specimens under controlled laboratory conditions.
