Human PORCN ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the accurate measurement of Porcupine O-Acyltransferase (PORCN) in human samples. It uses a double antibody Sandwich ELISA format with colorimetric detection, offering a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a working range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. The assay is suitable for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and the kit should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Reported linearity in serum samples is 85–101% at 1:2, 82–91% at 1:4 and 87–99% at 1:8, with comparable ranges observed for EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Recovery ranges are 91–101% (average 95%) for serum, 86–104% (average 96%) for EDTA plasma, and 85–104% (average 95%) for heparin plasma.

PORCN is a key enzyme in the Wnt signaling pathway, which regulates cell proliferation, differentiation and tissue development. This makes the kit a useful tool for research into disease pathogenesis, treatment efficacy and novel therapeutic targets, particularly in areas such as cancer, developmental disorders and metabolic conditions.
