Human PON3/ (Paraoxonase 3) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a high quality, sensitive sandwich ELISA for the quantitative measurement of human PON3 (Paraoxonase 3). The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is configured for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The standard curve spans 6.25-400 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 3.75 pg/mL. Linearity in diluted serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma is supported by percentage recovery ranges across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, and spike-and-recovery in the same matrices returns average values between 92% and 98%. The protocol follows a standard sandwich workflow: capture antibody coated plate, biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin binding, TMB colour development and absorbance reading at 450 nm. PON3 is associated with protection against oxidative stress and inflammation, making it a useful biomarker for studies of cardiovascular disease, diabetes and related metabolic disorders.
