Human Polyubiquitin-B (UBB) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed to measure levels of human Polyubiquitin-B (UBB) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit detects natural and recombinant human Polyubiquitin-B with reactivity against human samples and is positioned for research in neurosciences, where polyubiquitin B is of interest because of its role in the ubiquitin–proteasome system and its associations with neurodegenerative disorders, cancer and autoimmune conditions.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 6.25–400 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 3 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 3.8% and inter-assay CV is 7.1%. Linearity has been characterised for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Recovery is 102% (range 96–108%) in serum and 104% (range 98–110%) in plasma. The target corresponds to UniProt P0CG47, with subcellular localisation reported in cytoplasm and nucleus. The kit is supplied for research use only.
