Human Polycystin-1 (PKD1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human Polycystin-1 (PKD1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples only.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.081 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.3% and inter-assay CV is 7.5%. Linearity for serum ranges from 81–92% (1:2) to 110–119% (1:16), for EDTA plasma from 81–91% (1:2) to 107–117% (1:16), and for heparin plasma from 111–123% (1:2) to 105–113% (1:16). Recovery averages 100% (94–106%) for serum and 102% (96–108%) for plasma. The kit detects natural and recombinant human Polycystin-1 (UniProt P98161), a multi-pass membrane protein localised to the cell membrane and primary cilium, and is intended for research use only.
