Human Poly [ADP-ribose] polymerase 2 (PARP2) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie intended for the quantitative measurement of Poly [ADP-ribose] polymerase 2 (PARP2) levels in human samples. The kit is for research use only and supports research into diseases where this enzyme has been implicated, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and inflammatory conditions, as well as studies of DNA repair mechanisms.

The kit detects natural and recombinant human PARP2 using an ELISA readout and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The target protein is localised to the nucleus and is identified by UniProt accession Q9UGN5.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.12 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.3%, and an inter-assay CV of 7.5%. Average recovery is 106% for serum (range 100-112%) and 108% for plasma (range 102-114%). PARP2 is a poly-ADP-ribosyltransferase that mediates poly-ADP-ribosylation of proteins and plays a key role in DNA repair.
