Human POLR1A ELISA Kit (HUFI07122)

The Assay Genie Human POLR1A ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of RNA Polymerase I Subunit A protein in research samples. POLR1A encodes the largest catalytic subunit of RNA polymerase I, the enzyme responsible for transcribing most ribosomal RNA genes, including 28S, 18S, and 5.8S rRNA within the nucleolus. Accurate quantification of POLR1A is valuable for studies of ribosome biogenesis, nucleolar stress responses, and disorders linked to dysregulated rRNA synthesis, such as acrofacial dysostosis and leukodystrophy variants.

Typical applications include investigating POLR1A expression levels in cell culture models, profiling patient-derived tissue homogenates, and supporting research into conditions where POLR1A mutations have been implicated. The kit is supplied in a microplate format and is intended for in vitro research use only.
