Human Podoplanin (PDPN) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human podoplanin (PDPN) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It uses a colorimetric ELISA detection method and is specific for natural and recombinant human podoplanin. Also known by synonyms including Aggrus, Glycoprotein 36, PA2.26 antigen, T1-alpha, Gp36, T1A, PSEC0003 and PSEC0025, podoplanin is a type-I integral membrane glycoprotein with diverse distribution in human tissues.

The assay delivers a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.067ng/mL. Reported precision includes an intra-assay CV of 7.1% and an inter-assay CV of 10.9%. Linearity was demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, and recovery was 103% (97-109%) for serum and 105% (99-111%) for plasma.
