Human PLTP ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA using a double-antibody format from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human Phospholipid Transfer Protein (PLTP) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with a colorimetric readout. PLTP plays a central role in lipid metabolism and cardiovascular biology by mediating the transfer of phospholipids between lipoproteins, and its dysregulation has been associated with metabolic disorders and cardiovascular disease, making it a useful biomarker in related research.

The assay has a reported sensitivity of 1.875 ng/mL and a measuring range of 3.125–200 ng/mL, with components stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. Reported linearity in EDTA plasma (n=5) is 85–102% at a 1:2 dilution, 84–95% at 1:4, and 83–100% at 1:8; heparin plasma (n=5) shows 87–103%, 82–101%, and 85–97% at the same dilutions. Recovery is 93–101% with an average of 96% in EDTA plasma (n=5) and 87–101% with an average of 94% in heparin plasma (n=5).
