Human PLIN2/Perilipin-2 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human PLIN2 (Perilipin-2) using a double-antibody format and colorimetric detection. The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples, with reagents intended for storage at 2-8°C.

Recovery in spiked matrices was demonstrated in serum (n=5) at 86-101% with an average of 93%, in EDTA plasma (n=5) at 91-101% with an average of 95%, and in heparin plasma (n=5) at 90-103% with an average of 95%. Linearity was confirmed across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8) of serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.

PLIN2, also known by the synonyms ADRP, Adipophilin, and Adipose Differentiation Related Protein, is a lipid droplet-associated protein with key roles in lipid metabolism and storage. The kit supports research into conditions such as obesity, fatty liver disease, and metabolic disorders.
