Human Pleiotrophin (PTN) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human Pleiotrophin (PTN) in research samples. Pleiotrophin, also known as HB-GAM, is a secreted growth factor involved in processes such as cell proliferation, differentiation, migration, and survival, and is of interest in studies of cancer, neurodegenerative disease, and bone formation. The kit is intended for research use only and supports immunology-related investigations.

The assay reports a detection range of 15.6-1000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 10pg/mL. Reported precision values include an intra-assay CV of 5.2% and an inter-assay CV of 9.3%. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16, and recovery has been measured in serum and plasma matrices. Specificity is stated for natural and recombinant human Pleiotrophin, with the target referenced under UniProt P21246.

Acceptable sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with human samples and uses a sandwich format.
