Human Plectin ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit with double-antibody detection is intended for the quantitative measurement of Plectin in human samples. The assay accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types, and the colorimetric readout is performed at 450 nm following TMB substrate development. According to the manufacturer, the kit is suited to research into cell motility, tissue repair, and disease progression, with particular relevance to cancer biology, muscular dystrophy, and skin disorders.

The assay reports a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a measuring range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. Linearity testing in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions gave ranges of 91–103%, 85–101%, and 91–98% for serum; 82–99%, 86–99%, and 94–100% for EDTA plasma; and 92–103%, 85–97%, and 87–98% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery values were 85–100% (average 95%) in serum, 86–97% (average 91%) in EDTA plasma, and 85–100% (average 96%) in heparin plasma.
