Human Pleckstrin homology domain-containing family O member 1 (PLEKHO1) ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie for measuring levels of human Pleckstrin homology domain-containing family O member 1 (PLEKHO1), this colorimetric ELISA kit is reactive with human samples including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Sensitivity is 0.21 ng/ml with a detection range of 0.625–40 ng/ml. The kit shows an intra-assay CV of 4.9% and inter-assay CV of 7.4%, with recovery of 98% (range 92–104%) in serum and 100% (range 94–106%) in plasma. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16.

PLEKHO1 is a pleckstrin homology (PH) domain-containing protein involved in cell adhesion and migration, and plays a role in regulation of the actin cytoskeleton through interactions with actin capping protein. The protein may function as an adapter to target CK2 to the plasma membrane, appears to target ATM to the plasma membrane, and has been shown to inhibit tumor cell growth by inhibiting AKT-mediated cell survival. PLEKHO1 is also implicated in PI3K-regulated muscle differentiation, regulation of AP-1 activity, and promotion of apoptosis induced by TNF. Abnormal levels of PLEKHO1 have been associated with cancer and inflammatory conditions. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human PLEKHO1 and is intended for research use only.
