Human PLD2/Phospholipase D2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich-format, double-antibody ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative, colorimetric detection of human PLD2 (Phospholipase D2) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. PLD2 is a member of the phospholipase D enzyme family with roles in membrane trafficking, cytoskeletal dynamics, and signal transduction, and its dysregulation has been associated with cancer, inflammatory disorders, and neurodegenerative conditions, making it a target of interest in metabolism research.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Manufacturer linearity data, tested at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions, range from 85-101% (serum), 81-100% (EDTA plasma), and 91-101% (heparin plasma). Recovery averages are 94% in serum, 96% in EDTA plasma, and 92% in heparin plasma. The workflow involves a 90-minute primary incubation at 37 °C, a 60-minute biotinylated detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-streptavidin binding step, and TMB substrate development read at 450 nm. Reagents are intended to be stored at 2-8 °C for up to 12 months.
