This immunoassay from Assay Genie is engineered to quantify human phospholipase C delta 4 (PLCD4) in biological research samples. PLCD4 hydrolyzes phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate to generate the secondary messengers inositol trisphosphate and diacylglycerol, key effectors of intracellular calcium release and protein kinase C activation. Investigators apply the kit in studies of phosphoinositide pathway signaling, comparative profiling across phospholipase C family members, and characterization of altered enzyme expression in tumor cell lines and primary tissue specimens. The microplate format includes pre-coated capture plates, lyophilized recombinant standards, biotinylated detection antibody, and streptavidin-HRP conjugate to enable quantitative measurement through a standard chromogenic readout. Reconstituted standards should be frozen at negative twenty degrees C in single-use aliquots to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles, while the antibody vials and wash buffer are stored refrigerated. Each microplate supports 96 determinations, and the kit is supplied with a detailed standard-curve protocol and complete buffer set for straightforward bench setup. Intended for research use only and not validated for clinical diagnostic applications.
