The Assay Genie Human Platelet Membrane Glycoprotein IV (GP4) ELISA Kit offers quantitative measurement of CD36 (GPIV), an 88 kDa scavenger receptor expressed on platelets, endothelial cells, adipocytes, and macrophages. The assay recognizes native human GP4 and is calibrated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids, supporting cardiovascular, metabolic, and malaria research.
This microplate-format sandwich ELISA uses a human-specific capture antibody, minimizing cross-reactivity with rodent orthologues, and is intended for in vitro research use only. The kit includes a pre-coated plate, detection antibody, standards, and buffers sufficient for one plate of samples run in duplicate.
