Human Platelet-derived growth factor D (PDGFD) ELISA Kit

The assay is reactive with human samples and validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human PDGFD.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 15.6-1000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 5.6pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported as 5.3% and inter-assay CV as 10.7%. Linearity has been assessed in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions, with recovery averaging 103% (97-109%) for serum and 105% (99-111%) for plasma.

PDGFD is a disulfide-linked homodimer belonging to the PDGF/VEGF growth factor family and acts as a potent mitogen for cells of mesenchymal origin, with roles in embryonic development, wound healing, angiogenesis and tissue remodeling. The kit is supplied for research use only.
