Human Plasminogen ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative detection of human plasminogen using a double-antibody, colorimetric method. The assay is intended for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with absorbance read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development. Plasminogen plays a central role in blood clot breakdown and fibrinolysis, and its dysregulation has been associated with thrombosis, cardiovascular disease, and liver disorders.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a quantitative range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. In EDTA plasma, recovery averages 95% (range 85–101%); in heparin plasma, recovery averages 92% (range 85–102%). Linearity ranges from 83% to 99% in EDTA plasma and from 80% to 100% in heparin plasma. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months and shipped at +4°C.
