Human Plasminogen activator inhibitor 1 (SERPINE1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor 1 (SERPINE1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is intended for research use only. SERPINE1, also known as endothelial plasminogen activator inhibitor, Serpin E1, PAI, PAI1 or PLANH1, is a key regulator of fibrinolysis that has been implicated in thrombosis, fibrosis and cardiovascular disease, and is studied as a biomarker in cancer research.

The kit reports a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL. Precision is reported with an intra-assay CV of 5.4% and an inter-assay CV of 10.3%. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions. Recovery averages 108% (range 102-114%) in serum and 110% (range 104-116%) in plasma. Specificity is established for natural and recombinant human SERPINE1 (UniProt P05121), a secreted serine protease inhibitor.
