Human PLAP/ALPP (Placental Alkaline Phosphatase) ELISA Kit (HUES02914)

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human placental alkaline phosphatase (PLAP/ALPP, UniProt P05187) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The colorimetric assay uses a microplate pre-coated with a capture antibody specific to the target protein, together with a biotinylated detection antibody and an Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. The optical density is read at 450 nm ± 2 nm and is directly proportional to the concentration of PLAP in the sample.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.1 ng/mL, a detection range of 0.16–10 ng/mL, and recoveries of 80%–120%. The kit recognises human PLAP/ALPP in samples with no significant cross-reactivity or interference between human PLAP/ALPP and analogues. It is intended for research applications, including studies of placental alkaline phosphatase in pregnancy complications, bone disorders and certain cancers, and falls within the research areas of cancer, tags and cell markers. The recommended sample volume is 100 μL.

Total assay time is 3 h 30 min. The kit comprises a dismountable micro ELISA plate, reference standard, concentrated biotinylated detection antibody, concentrated HRP conjugate, reference standard and sample diluent, biotinylated detection antibody diluent, HRP conjugate diluent, concentrated wash buffer, substrate reagent, stop solution, plate sealer, a technical manual and a certificate of analysis.
