Human Placenta Growth Factor (PLGF) ELISA Kit

This Assay Genie kit quantifies Placenta Growth Factor (PLGF), a homodimeric glycoprotein in the VEGF family that signals through VEGFR-1 (Flt-1) and contributes to pathological angiogenesis. The assay delivers a detection range of 15.6 to 1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of roughly 5.8 pg/mL, requiring 100 µL of sample per well. Investigators in maternal-fetal medicine, oncology, and cardiovascular research apply PLGF measurement to study preeclampsia, tumor neovascularization, and ischemic tissue remodeling, where circulating PLGF is a recognized biomarker of placental dysfunction and an in vitro correlate of adverse pregnancy outcomes.
