Human PKR2 (Prokineticin Receptor 2) CLIA Kit (HUES01015)

Sandwich CLIA architecture pairs a capture antibody on the microplate with a biotinylated detector and streptavidin-HRP signal generation, producing a chemiluminescent read-out on a compatible luminometer. The calibration curve spans 0.312-20 ng/mL with an analytical sensitivity below 0.107 ng/mL, supporting detection of low-abundance receptor protein in serum (50 ul), plasma (50 ul), and cell culture supernatant (100 ul). Intra-assay CV remains below 10% and inter-assay CV under 12%, with lyophilized standards reconstituted immediately before use and stored aliquots held frozen to limit activity loss across repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

PKR2 (UniProt Q8NFJ6), also annotated PROKR2, KAL3, GPR73L1, and GPRg2, couples primarily through Gq and Gi pathways to mobilize calcium and modulate cAMP upon binding the cognate ligands PROK1 (EG-VEGF) and PROK2 (Bv8). Loss-of-function variants in PROKR2 are linked to Kallmann syndrome with absent or delayed puberty, anosmia, and defective GnRH neuron migration, while gain-of-function changes have been reported in some cases of severe early-onset obesity.
