Human PKM2 ELISA Kit

This colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for quantitative detection of pyruvate kinase M2 (PKM2) in human samples. PKM2 is a key enzyme in the regulation of glycolysis and is essential for cancer cell metabolism, supporting its use as a biomarker in cancer research and therapy development. The double-antibody assay delivers a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a measuring range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity in serum (n=5) is 89-101%, 91-105%, and 85-103% at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions; in EDTA plasma (n=5) it is 86-98%, 86-96%, and 82-98%; and in heparin plasma (n=5) it is 83-100%, 89-99%, and 81-95%. Average recovery is 96% in serum (n=5, range 89-101%), 94% in EDTA plasma (n=5, range 87-103%), and 97% in heparin plasma (n=5, range 85-105%). The procedure involves incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes for primary binding, 60 minutes with biotin-labeled detection antibody, 30 minutes with HRP-streptavidin, and 10-20 minutes of TMB color development in the dark. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
