Human Pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide/PACAP ELISA Kit

A sandwich double-antibody ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of Human Pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide (PACAP). The kit supports measurements in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, using a colorimetric readout with absorbance measured at 450 nm.

Sensitivity is 4.688 pg/mL, with an assay range of 7.813–500 pg/mL. Reported linearity across dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 spans 80–105% in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5). Average recovery is 95% for serum, 98% for EDTA plasma and 99% for heparin plasma. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

PACAP is a neuropeptide involved in hormone secretion, neurotransmission and cell proliferation, and its dysregulation has been linked to neurological disorders, stress responses and inflammatory conditions. The kit is intended for research applications in neuroscience, endocrinology and immunology.
