Quantitative measurement of human PINX1 for telomere and cancer research

The Assay Genie Human PINX1 ELISA Kit is supplied as a 96 Assays microplate-based format intended for research use only, allowing investigators to quantify PINX1 (PIN2/TRF1-interacting telomerase inhibitor 1) in human biological specimens. PINX1 directly binds the catalytic subunit of telomerase and is recruited to telomeric DNA through its interaction with TRF1, positioning the protein as a central regulator of telomere length, replicative senescence, and chromosome stability.

Reduced PINX1 expression has been linked to hepatocellular carcinoma, gastric cancer, colorectal tumors, and other malignancies, so the kit supports workflows in tumor biology, biomarker discovery, and mechanistic studies of telomerase regulation. The assay uses an absorbance-based read-out and arrives as a complete kit with the pre-coated microplate and all reagents needed for the full plate. Components should be refrigerated between uses; allow reagents to equilibrate to room temperature prior to running the assay, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles of prepared working solutions to preserve performance.
