Human PIN1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich, double-antibody ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the precise measurement of PIN1 in human biological samples. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric, with TMB substrate developed in the dark and absorbance read at 450 nm. Reported sensitivity is 46.875 pg/mL and the working range is 78.125–5000 pg/mL.

PIN1 is a peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase that regulates cell cycle progression, signal transduction and DNA repair, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, Alzheimer's disease and autoimmune disorders. Linearity has been demonstrated across dilution series in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, and recovery ranges typically fall between 86% and 102% across these same sample matrices.

The workflow follows standard sandwich ELISA methodology, with primary incubation, biotinylated detection antibody binding, HRP-streptavidin conjugation, TMB colour development and a stop reaction prior to reading. Reagents are supplied with the pre-coated microplate and accompanying buffers, and the kit is intended to be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
