Human Pikachurin/EGFLAM ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Pikachurin (also known as EGFLAM), a protein implicated in the development and maintenance of the nervous system, particularly in the formation of synapses. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples, supporting research applications where dysregulation of Pikachurin has been associated with neurological disorders such as congenital stationary night blindness and retinitis pigmentosa.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Linearity and recovery data are provided across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma matrices, and final absorbance is read at 450 nm.
