Human Pikachurin (EGFLAM) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human Pikachurin (EGFLAM) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Detection is colorimetric, and the assay is specific for both natural and recombinant human Pikachurin. It is intended for research use only.

Pikachurin is a secreted extracellular matrix protein encoded by the EGFLAM gene (UniProt Q63HQ2) that plays a role in retinal photoreceptor ribbon synapse formation and in the physiological functions of visual perception. The reported detection range is 0.312-20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.19 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 3.4% and inter-assay CV is 7.9%. Spike-and-recovery in serum averaged 101% (range 95-107%) and in plasma 103% (range 97-109%), with linearity demonstrated across serial dilutions of serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
