Human PIIINP/Procollagen III N-terminal Propeptide ELISA Kit

This colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of human PIIINP (Procollagen III N-terminal Propeptide), a key biomarker of collagen synthesis and turnover that plays a critical role in tissue repair and fibrosis. Elevated PIIINP levels have been associated with conditions such as liver fibrosis, chronic kidney disease, and pulmonary fibrosis, making this kit a useful research tool for studying collagen metabolism and related disease mechanisms.

Linearity is reported across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions: 86–100%, 85–105%, and 94–104% for serum (n=5); 86–96%, 83–98%, and 86–101% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 82–97%, 83–95%, and 80–100% for heparin plasma (n=5). Average recovery values are 96% for serum (range 85–102%), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 87–104%), and 94% for heparin plasma (range 85–104%). The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months, with absorbance read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.
