Human PIGM ELISA Kit (HUFI07226)

This colorimetric ELISA from Assay Genie supports quantitative measurement of human phosphatidylinositol glycan anchor biosynthesis class M (PIGM), a mannosyltransferase essential for glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) anchor assembly at the endoplasmic reticulum. Research applications include profiling GPI biosynthesis pathway components, studying congenital disorders of glycosylation, and investigating hyperphosphatasia with mental retardation syndrome (Mabry syndrome), in which PIGM promoter mutations have been characterized in patient cell lines.

The 96 Assays format provides a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP reagents, standard calibrators, wash buffer, and TMB substrate for chromogenic readout. Intended for in vitro research use only, the assay gives laboratories working on membrane anchor biosynthesis and glycosylation biology a way to analyse experimental samples through a standard ELISA workflow. Reagents are supplied in sufficient quantity for one microplate run, with refrigerated handling of components recommended prior to use to preserve activity.
