Human PI4KA ELISA Kit (HUFI07224)

The Assay Genie PI4KA (Phosphatidylinositol 4-Kinase Alpha) ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of PI4KA protein in human research samples. PI4KA is a ubiquitously expressed lipid kinase that phosphorylates phosphatidylinositol at the inositol 4-position to produce phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate (PI4P), a phospholipid central to Golgi membrane trafficking, cargo sorting, and receptor signaling. Elevated PI4KA activity has been linked to tumor cell proliferation and metastatic behavior, and the enzyme is recruited as a host factor by several positive-sense RNA viruses during genome replication, making it a target of interest in oncology and antiviral research. The kit is supplied in a microplate format with pre-coated capture antibody and all reagents required to perform the assay. Refrigerated storage is recommended for the reconstituted standards and detection antibody to preserve binding activity. The assay is validated for human PI4KA quantification with no significant cross-reactivity observed with the closely related paralog PI4KB, and is intended for in vitro research use only.
