The Phosphotyrosine TIE2 ELISA from Assay Genie selectively measures tyrosine-phosphorylated TIE2 (the TEK receptor tyrosine kinase) from human cell and tissue lysates, enabling researchers to monitor activation of this endothelial receptor without resorting to phospho-Western blotting for every condition.

TIE2 phosphorylation is a central signaling event downstream of angiopoietin-1 (Ang1) and angiopoietin-2 (Ang2) binding, and the kit supports work in vascular biology, angiogenesis, endothelial signaling, and receptor tyrosine kinase pathway analysis. The 96-strip well plate layout accommodates multiple biological replicates, treatment conditions, and time-course points within a single experimental run.

Capture and detection antibodies are raised against human TIE2 phosphotyrosine epitopes, delivering a human-specific readout with minimal cross-reactivity toward the unphosphorylated receptor. Reconstituted standards and detection reagent should be stored at -20 degrees C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles, while the working wash buffer and sample diluent can be kept refrigerated at 4 degrees C for short-term use. Final absorbance is read on a standard microplate reader, with all reagents intended for research use only.
