The Assay Genie Phosphotyrosine SCFR PharmaGenie ELISA is a phosphorylation ELISA built to measure tyrosine phosphorylation of the stem cell factor receptor (SCFR, also known as KIT or CD117), a type III receptor tyrosine kinase central to mast cell biology, gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) research, and acute myeloid leukemia studies.

By combining a capture antibody directed against SCFR with a phosphotyrosine-specific detection antibody, the kit enables researchers to monitor ligand-driven activation or small-molecule inhibitor effects on receptor kinase activity in cell lysates and tissue lysates derived from human samples. It supports signaling pathway studies of downstream effectors such as PI3K/AKT and MAPK/ERK, as well as validation of candidate KIT tyrosine kinase inhibitors and characterization of gain-of-function or loss-of-function KIT mutations.

The microplate-based kit contains pre-coated wells, detection reagents, and assay buffers. Reconstituted phospho-specific antibodies should be aliquoted, stored refrigerated, and protected from light, with repeated freeze-thaw cycles avoided to preserve reagent performance. Intended for research use only and not for diagnostic procedures.
