LCK (lymphocyte-specific protein tyrosine kinase) is a Src-family non-receptor tyrosine kinase whose catalytic activity is regulated by phosphorylation at key tyrosine residues. The Phosphotyrosine LCK ELISA Kit from Assay Genie provides quantitative measurement of phosphorylated LCK in human cell lysates and tissue lysates, supporting research into T-cell receptor signaling, thymic development, and immune cell activation.

Phosphorylation at the activating Tyr394 site and the inhibitory C-terminal Tyr505 site controls LCK function, making accurate quantification of the phosphotyrosine form essential for studies of T-cell biology, immune signaling cascades, and small-molecule kinase inhibitor screening. The assay is run on prepared lysate samples and produces an absorbance-based readout that fits standard benchtop workflows for signal transduction and immunology research.

Supplied in a 96 assays format, the kit accommodates medium-throughput comparison of LCK phosphorylation across experimental conditions, treatment groups, or inhibitor panels. As part of the Assay Genie PharmaGenie phosphorylation product line, it is suited to kinase pathway profiling, immune cell model characterization, and pharmacology studies, and is intended for research use only.
