The Assay Genie Phosphotyrosine JAK2 ELISA Kit provides a quantitative immunoassay for measuring phosphorylated JAK2 (Janus Kinase 2) at tyrosine residues in cell lysates and tissue lysates. JAK2 is a cytoplasmic non-receptor tyrosine kinase that mediates cytokine receptor signaling through the JAK-STAT pathway, and phosphorylation at specific tyrosine sites serves as a direct indicator of its activation state. The kit is widely used in signal transduction research, studies of myeloproliferative neoplasms (including the JAK2 V617F mutation linked to polycythemia vera and essential thrombocythemia), and characterization of JAK inhibitor pharmacology such as ruxolitinib response profiling. The microplate-based format supports high-throughput screening of kinase activity downstream of cytokines, interferons, erythropoietin, and other growth factors in vitro.
