Phospho-JAK1 (tyrosine) ELISA from Assay Genie is a quantitative immunoassay built on a standard microplate for measuring phosphorylated Janus kinase 1 in human cell and tissue lysates. JAK1 is a cytoplasmic non-receptor tyrosine kinase that couples type I and type II cytokine receptor engagement to STAT transcription factor activation, so the abundance of its activated, phosphotyrosine form is a widely used surrogate for JAK-STAT pathway activity in basic research and in vitro pharmacology.

The kit accepts whole-cell lysate and tissue lysate inputs and is labeled for research use only, supporting experiments such as time-course stimulation of cytokine-responsive lines, small-molecule inhibitor profiling against the JAK family, and validation of upstream receptor or phosphatase effects on JAK1 phosphorylation state.
