The Phosphotyrosine Insulin Receptor ELISA from Assay Genie is a phosphorylation-specific immunoassay used to quantify tyrosine-phosphorylated insulin receptor in cell lysates and tissue lysates. The capture antibody is directed against the phosphotyrosine epitope, enabling researchers to monitor activation of this receptor tyrosine kinase following insulin or IGF-1 stimulation. Each kit provides reagents sufficient for 96 assays in a microplate format, with a recommended 100 uL sample volume per well. Reconstituted standards and detection antibody should be stored frozen at -20 degrees C to preserve phospho-epitope binding activity, while sealed strips and wash buffer should be kept refrigerated.
