Phosphorylation-specific ELISA kits from Assay Genie's PharmaGenie line are used to quantify site-specific tyrosine phosphorylation of signaling kinases in cell and tissue lysates. This phosphotyrosine BTK (Bruton's tyrosine kinase) assay measures the catalytically active pool of BTK bearing phosphorylated tyrosine residues, supporting research into B-cell receptor signaling pathways. Common applications include kinase activity profiling in B-cell lymphoma and leukemia research, evaluation of BTK inhibitor pharmacology such as ibrutinib, acalabrutinib and related covalent inhibitors, and characterization of X-linked agammaglobulinemia patient-derived B-lymphocytes. The kit is supplied in a 96 assays format with an absorbance-based microplate readout, and cell lysates or tissue lysates serve as the recommended sample matrix for in vitro research use only. A standard microplate ELISA workflow applies, and refrigerated storage of reagents between uses is recommended to preserve antibody binding activity across the kit's working shelf life.
