Human Phosphorylated Neurofilament H ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Phosphorylated Neurofilament H ELISA Kit is a Sandwich ELISA designed for use with human samples and uses a colorimetric detection method. The assay is intended for the quantitative measurement of phosphorylated neurofilament-H (pNF-H) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reagents should be stored at 2-8°C, where they remain stable for up to 12 months.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a standard range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. Linearity has been demonstrated across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions, with serum ranging 80-103%, EDTA plasma 81-105%, and heparin plasma 81-104%. Recovery ranges are 85-100% (average 93%) for serum, 85-98% (average 92%) for EDTA plasma, and 86-97% (average 91%) for heparin plasma. The protocol involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) incubation for 30 minutes, TMB substrate colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.
