Human Phospholipid Scramblase 1/PLSCR1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human Phospholipid Scramblase 1 (PLSCR1). The assay uses a double-antibody format and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples of human origin.

The reported sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL, with a detection range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity values are 86-103% (1:2), 86-105% (1:4) and 85-101% (1:8) for serum (n=5); 82-96% (1:2), 93-99% (1:4) and 82-91% (1:8) for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 88-94% (1:2), 82-91% (1:4) and 86-94% (1:8) for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery averages 95% in serum (range 85-104%), 97% in EDTA plasma (range 88-105%), and 98% in heparin plasma (range 90-105%). All kit components are stable at 2-8°C for 12 months.

PLSCR1 is a phospholipid scramblase involved in the regulation of phospholipid asymmetry in cell membranes and plays a vital role in various cellular processes. Dysregulation has been linked to cancer, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory conditions, supporting its use as a biomarker within immunology research.
