Human Phospholipase C Zeta 1 (PLCz1) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Phospholipase C Zeta 1 (PLCz1) ELISA Kit supports research into male fertility, spermatogenesis, and oocyte activation. PLCz1 is the sperm-specific phospholipase that triggers the intracellular calcium oscillations required for successful fertilization, and quantitative measurement of PLCz1 in tissue homogenates is used to investigate idiopathic male infertility, globozoospermia, and failed intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) cycles. The assay uses a human-specific capture antibody pair, which minimizes cross-reactivity with non-target phospholipase C isoforms and related sperm proteins. Reconstituted reagents and unused strip wells should be stored refrigerated at 4 degrees C, while long-term storage of standards below -20 degrees C preserves calibration across freeze-thaw cycles. Each microplate is supplied as a single-use plate with all buffers, detection antibody, standards, and TMB substrate included for the full run, supporting research use only workflows in reproductive biology and andrology laboratories.
