Human Phospholipase A2 X/PLA2G10 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Phospholipase A2 X (PLA2G10, UniProt O15496) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, and is reactive with human samples only.

Performance characteristics stated by the manufacturer include a sensitivity of 4.688 pg/mL and a working range of 7.813–500 pg/mL. Linearity in serum (n = 5) across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is reported as 90–101%, 93–104% and 88–104% respectively, with EDTA plasma at 94–99%, 86–97% and 91–97%, and heparin plasma at 81–100%, 83–98% and 82–100%. Spike-and-recovery averages are given as 93% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma and 97% for heparin plasma. The kit is intended for research in metabolism, supporting studies of lipid-metabolism and inflammation pathways in which PLA2G10 dysregulation has been implicated, including cardiovascular disorders, inflammatory conditions and cancer.

Unopened components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months, with the standard and plate strips additionally suitable for 12 months at -20°C. TMB substrate, biotin-labelled antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate and the stop, wash and dilution buffers should be protected from direct light.
